photo analysis # 12

This add is obviously pro- animal rights and i think they are another add campaign that uses humor and sex to portray an image. i think its an affective message it is asking us to be confident enough to not use fur. the font the letters are in is kind of a fun, goofy font and so are the colors and the women seems to just be fooling around singing so even though it is a serious subject it sill used comedy to get the message a crossed and those are my favorite kinds of ads.

i think this is a funny way to make people think about being Eco friendly. i think it is letting us know that there are small things we can all do to make a difference and they don't have to be drastic.

the ad appeals to our humor making us feel positive about the image and message portrayed i like it.

this is an image i took from the air plane leaving Cancun and i think its a great picture of the strip. i look at the colors of the water and it is so soothing and even though the colors are not very bright and it still makes for a good photo. i think the sand outlining the strip looks amazing the mixture of colors are great.

this is a wonderful picture of a water fall the colors are so soothing it just makes me want to be there. i can almost hear the water the colors are so bright and vivid that it makes me feel like i am there.

i think this as an amazing painting it almost looks like a photographed. the colors used are amazing the dark blue in the background helps the white pop out at you. there is so much detail in every single flower the color green adds peace to the image i just love it.

i think this is supper funny and creative. the things college students due, i think this is a good way to Use, Reuse and recycle and stay green.

the multi-colors of the cans add character to the couch. i give them thumbs up for there creativity.

This is a photograph i took when i visited Paris on ,y twenty first birthday. This is one of my favorite pictures i think it is at a good angle and the tower stand out in the frame the color blue with the big yellow stars look amazing its a good color combination.

This tower symbolizes many different things for many people but the main thing it symbolizes its love. Paris is known as the city of love and fashion. i think the Eiffel tower is an amazing piece of architecture and i am glad i was able to capture it with my own camera.

These very graphic, extremely disturbing ads are actually part of a real life AIDS campaign in France.

The advertisements consists of images of a man having sex with a giant, black scorpion, and a woman receiving oral sex from an enormous, hairy tarantula.(GROSS)

i am not sure who they where created by just that they are for an aids campaign because it is on the image.

i just know that this would never fly in America, its so disturbing and i guess it makes an impact and stays with you but it is still super gross but i guess that is why i was attracted to it. its a different type of add.

photo analysis # 5

i think this is a very shocking add. It gives us a very clear and simple message that drugs are bad and that you can loses someone you care for to them.

the setting in the picture is perfect because it is a few kids hanging out at a lake, how many of us can relate to that i think most of us can. In between them there is a tombstone stating that someone is dead and they are missing in the frame and is being replaced by a tombstone.

also i think the lighting is great its not supper sunny outside because bright colors and the sun represent happy thoughts and times. instead its a bit dimmer letting us know the mood is more of sorrow then a happy bright day at the lake.

Collage

having fun in DMF finally learned how to make none ordinary collages. it was fun playing with colors and effects as well as the opacity of an image.

i used all of my own pictures to avoid problems, this was my trip to Egypt in October 2008. I had lots of fun, and working on this collage brought back great memories.

Picturing the "other"

Hayley is one of my co- workers i don't usually talk to her and i thought this project would give me an opportunity to become closer to her and show interest in her.

she is a junior at SOU and she loves to travel she has been to Thailand a few times and worked with children in orphanages. she has many goals she would like to open up her own orphanage when she graduates from SOU. she has a great personality and was supper friendly to the idea of me photographing her.

thank you.

photo analysis #4

This ad is really hits home for me since i have 4 younger siblings. and this image reminds me that from the moment of birth, a child is supposed to be in its purest form, can get corrupted when it enters the world. Now a days, children are raised with the awareness about 'brand names' from a very young age. Exactly as this picture shows, we brand our loved ones and possibly hurt them. when we think we are giving them the best.

photo analysis #3

This ad was so shocking to me i think the men and women are physically attractive and i think the image has a good layout. I hate that the male seems to be dominating the women in this adds as four other man are standing there watching doing nothing. it is almost glamorizing violence against women. He is on top of her overwhelming her bodies. This women is projected as vulnerable, and the main thing that is being sold is her body and violence. It seems like every where we look now ads or in the cover of a magazine are being shown as object more than people. The women in this add almost looks lifeless.
the lghting in this image seems natural outside. There is an ehical responsibility that is produced with this image that is why the image was baned for the USA.

This is collage i did on photoshop using layers, i love doing things like this. this is a cluster of different pictures i have taken with my boyfriend and other pictures i found online that i really like and said something to me.

this collage represents three and a half years of our happy relationship. there are pictures from our trip to Cancun and Europe. I love taking pictures and making scrapbooks or getting creative with them.

i used this as my Myspace layout. i feel like it is an artistic way to show who i love and what we love to do together and that is traveling.

i think threw the picture you can tell that we are both ethnic. it is very easy to tell threw all these small images that we are very much in love with one another. i made the images retain color but not vibrant colors i wanted to portray a sort if soft colors or soothing. These images i think bring a warm feeling to most everyone in our society we all like to see happy people and people in love and these images represent just that.

scratch assignment two

not knowing how to draw i try to use shapes and colors that seem to mesh well together. learning how to use layers last class has really helped. this is an image representing a bunch of happy spring colors and random words of what spring mean to me.

the " cartonic person" in this drawing may not seem very alive or happy but it is because it is daydreaming of the beautiful weather out side.
